Questions

Here are the things you need to know… and if you don’t see what you need, shoot us an email!

What platforms do you build websites on?

We primarily work on ShowIt, Wix, and Squarespace. (Blogs are on WordPress but integrated into ShowIt)

How long can I expect a project to take?

Typically, we plan for 4-6 weeks. We outline our projected launch date when we review our process during the onboarding meeting. However, slow client response or difficulty making decisions on revisions can push that deadline out. With that being said, we keep our clients updated if a deadline needs to be moved for any reason. Keep in mind that you are subject to a contract extension fee if a project is going exceptionally longer than we planned due to communication issues.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! We love small businesses and do everything we can to make projects accessible. We can absolutely discuss a couple of different options for payment plans in the onboarding process, which will be agreed upon in the contract.

Is copy included in the website design?

Yes. We take a collaborative approach to building our websites with visuals and copy. Both work together to achieve your goals. However, copy is also available as its own service. Maybe you need help refining some keywords or the flow of your site. Our copywriter has you covered.

What if I am still trying to decide on my business logo, colors, or even name?

That’s okay. We have questionnaires to help you reflect on what you want in your business. Clients continuously tell us that our questionnaires made them think about things they haven’t considered before. Our process is built so that you can get to know yourself. We will go through what you want, like, and don’t like to get you exactly where you want to be.

Will my website be at the top of Google?

Short answer: we do our best. We do basic SEO to ensure your website is fully optimized on the back end. Your ranking heavily depends on what exactly your business is and how you market it. Broad terms will be tough to compete against. However, we can definitely get you started on the right foot with location and niche. We’re more than happy to refer you to someone to do more intensive SEO and Google ad work to maximize your ranking on Google. There are a lot of external and internal factors that go into SEO!
